We are proud to inform you that our Corporate Group, Aretè Cocchi Technology, is opening a new base in the US, in Chicago, Illinois. The corporate headquarters of the group and those of its subsidiaries Multi Electric, CT Pack USA and Science + USA are in Franklin Park, on a modern 2,500-square-metre site that will house offices and a factory, conveniently based near O’Hare International Airport and about 20 miles from West Chicago. This is also where the historic plant of Multi Electric, a factory that has been supplying technology and systems to airports since 1917, which was taken over in 2011 by the ACT Group, was located until not long ago.
Gino Cocchi, Chairman of Aretè Cocchi Technology, says:
‘Opening a branch office for the entire group is a strategic decision: it is not only a matter of having local offices, but it will also be a stepping stone to maximise and accelerate our growth, both operationally and strategically, in the US market. We are indeed expecting major developments that will enable us to double our business volume and generate sales worth $100 million in the three Business Areas of the Aretè Cocchi Technology Group.’
New base – Chicago – Illinois, USA
The Airfield Technology division will gain visibility and is sure to benefit from being close to O’Hare International Airport, one of the world’s five busiest airports with more than 50 million passengers annually, which makes it a very interesting potential customer for the product portfolio of Multi Electric, Ocem Airfield Technology and Augier.
CT Pack USA will have the chance to boost its sales and customer service and to integrate complete packaging systems by relying on an ideal logistics hub serving the whole of North America.
With its power systems and RF amplifiers for the energy, science and medical sectors, Science + USA will be able to pursue other major opportunities to tap into the US market.
The inauguration ceremony will take place on Thursday, 12 October 2023 and will be attended by local authorities and the Aretè Cocchi Technology team.
