Project Quality Engineer

The Project QA/QC Manager works in partnership with the Project Manager to ensure successful Project Delivery. The Project Quality Manager acts as point-of-contact for all matters relating to Quality Management on the assigned project. The Project Quality Manager provides leadership and support to the Project Team, and liaises with the Major Projects Head of Quality Assurance to ensure consistency of approach and standards.

 

Main Tasks and fields of activity

  • Member of the Project Leadership team
  • Project Quality Plan for the assigned project
  • Quality Control Strategy
  • Lessons learned outputs
  • OPR (Operational Project Review) process outcomes
  • Project audit programme
  • Audit and non-conformance reporting
  • Contribution to monthly reporting
  • QC Interface and Management of Facilities contractors Quality requirements and deliverables.
  • Proactive identification and rectification of Project weaknesses
  • Deliver Project change programmes
  • Implement predictive Performance Measures
  • Create a Project Quality culture - Right First Time in everything we do, so that there is personal commitment from all team members
  • Accountable for the management of assigned elements of the project QMS and ensure appropriate system controls are in place at project level
  • Verifying through monitoring, surveillance and review the effectiveness and implementation of the project delivery processes and procedures
  • Contribute to procurement management activities, especially and review and approval of contractor Project Quality Plans and Inspection- and test plans
  • Plan and ensure closure of Project improvement activities (PINs, NCNs, Lessons Learned Actions, etc
  • Plan, implement and report on Project audits (Internal and 2nd Party)
  • Ensure understanding and application of responsibilities with regard to the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • Report on project performance
  • Contribute to and take part in the OPR process
  • Providing leadership in performance improvement.
  • Represent the Quality function at relevant meetings
  • Enable the roll-out, promotion and maintenance of the Project Delivery Process and Procedures.
  • Working with the Project Team to ensure adequate Quality Control expertise is available at the appropriate project delivery point (e.g. Supply Chain,construction, commissioning, handover)
  • Plan and manage Risks and Opportunities related to the Projects

 

Skills & Experience

  • Engineering degree, Electrical/Electronics preferred
  • Auditor trained
  • Certificate/diploma in Quality Management preferred
  • Proven extensive knowledge of Project delivery in development projects
  • Effective implementation of Quality Assurance/Control and Safety Management systems
  • In depth understanding of the scope & application of ISO 9001:2015
  • Awareness of the role of legislation and Regulatory bodies in project delivery
  • Good experience of a Quality Management role
  • Leading role in a project delivery team
  • Working with design and implementation contractors
  • Working on engineering projects in a science and research environment
  • Experience of working as a Project Manager is desirable

Project Manager

Responsabilità

Rispetto dei tempi e costi di ogni singola commessa aziendale. Responsabile dei collegamenti con il cliente durante tutta la fase post-ordine fino all’ottenimento del SAT.

 

Attività 

  • elaborare la pianificazione e la programmazione di dettaglio di ogni singola commessa;
  • mantenere il contatto con il cliente durante tutta la fase di elaborazione del progetto e più in generale della commessa;
  • valutare le richieste del cliente verificando se comprese nello scope of supply oppure no e in entrambe i casi gestire il loro sviluppo e la loro ufficializzazione all’interno dell’organizzazione aziendale. Nel caso si tratti di richieste che comportano incremento di prezzo dell’ordine coordinarsi con ufficio commerciale per concordare con il cliente tale incremento;
  • concordare con i responsabili gerarchici l’assegnazione delle risorse umane sulle singole commesse, organizzare efficientemente ed efficacemente le loro attività e monitorarne l’andamento;
  • svolgere periodicamente il processo di monitoraggio dell’avanzamento Commesse, riportandolo negli incontri dei team di progetto;
  • prevenire il rischio di mancato rispetto di tempi e costi di commessa e, qualora non possibile, informare il team di commessa, predisponendo le azioni correttive;
  • provvedere alle attività di riepilogo, dopo la chiusura del progetto, nell’ottica del miglioramento continuo dei processi produttivi.

 

Titolo di studio e altre conoscenze richieste

  • Studi: Laurea in Ingegneria elettrica/elettronica
  • Lingue: Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese (la conoscenza della lingua tedesca è un plus)
  • Informatica: Conoscenza di base del Pacchetto Office e dei software di riferimento (MS Project, etc.)

 

Competenze hard

  • Esperienza di almeno 2-3 anni nel ruolo richiesto, in realtà strutturate
  • Capacità di leggere una distinta meccanica/elettrica
  • Capacità di sviluppare e gestire un piano temporale di attività
