Our cutting-edge power solutions for fusion energy facilities are on display at Booth 30
OCEM Power Electronics’ latest projects for fusion energy research are on display this week at the 30th edition of the Symposium on Fusion Technology, a leading conference bringing together hundreds of researchers and industry professionals developing fusion as a clean, abundant energy source.
SOFT 2018 is taking place at the Giardini Naxos in Messina, Sicily, from Sept. 16 to 21.
The event, organized by the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA), is a biennial conference that has become one of the world’s most important research gatherings for fusion energy. It regularly attracts more than 800 scientists, engineers, industry representatives and other exhibitors from all over the world.
OCEM will be there to discuss its latest cutting-edge power solutions for fusion energy research facilities, including ITER, the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, andJT-60SA, theJapan Torus 60 Super Advanced reactor.
SOFT will also include B2B meetings and an Industry Day, held Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Affreschi Room. OCEM will be available for both opportunities.
The Italian company has supplied power systems for fusion energy research since the 1970s and has published dozens of papers on related topics. Frequent collaborators include ITER, F4E (Fusion for Energy), ENEA (the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development), and the RFX consortium.
Stop by Booth 30 to learn more about these and other projects that are pushing the envelope on fusion energy.
